Join us for our next a d@w-Los Angeles Monthly Meeting! Greetings friends and comrades! We will meet again on Saturday, May 20thth from 2:45pm to 6:00pm at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Santa Monica (1260 18th St, Santa Monica, CA 90404).

3:00-4:30: We will have a discussion about healthcare and education as it relates to our capitalist economic system. Please stay tuned for the recommended readings.

4:45-6:00: We will welcome Howard Sherman, visiting Professor of Economics at UCLA for a discussion about healthcare and education. Howard J. Sherman is a Professor Emeritus of Economics, and he is also an activist radical. During the McCarthy period of repression in the 1950s, he was tossed out of the U.S. Army and fought for 8 years to win an honorable status and his GI Bill rights. Since that time, he has fought with the pen, writing over 20 books and over 100 articles, all of them using the paradigm of radial economics.

Parking Instructions: Please look for parking on Arizona and other side streets; the church parking lot will NOT be available for our use. Please use the church entrance on 18th street. Signs will be posted directing you to our meeting.
