It's time to get your potluck on!

This month, we'll be celebrating Liz and Andrea's many contributions to the d@w-Los Angeles as co-leaders before their relocation to Italy. To thank them for everything they've done, we'll be hosting a potluck party! Please bring some of your favorite food and/or non-alcoholic beverages to share. Bring plenty, as we'll be joined by members of the d@w-North County San Diego group!

But before we dive into the festivities, we'll give your brain something to munch on as we welcome back Dr. Lisabeth Ryder from LUCI.

2:45pm - 4:20pm - Guest speaker: Dr. Lis Ryder 
Dr. Lisabeth Ryder has been a mechanic and small business owner, a university teacher and anthropologist, and a database analyst and computer programmer. She has also been a life-long social justice, environmental and human rights activist, and has been involved in both community and political organizing. She has worked for organized labor over two decades, having worked for both SEIU and AFSCME. She has been involved in cooperatives since the early 1970’s and co-chairs the Union Co-op Council for the US Federation of Worker Cooperatives and is currently organizing LUCI: the Los Angeles Union Cooperative initiative. She is a graduate of University of California, Los Angeles.
