Democracy at Work - Melbourne (d@w-Melbourne) is having their next monthly meeting and all are welcome!

This month:

1.Russell will give an update on the campaign for the Victorian Socialist Party that is seeking to elect candidates at the upcoming State Government elections. He has also recently attended the Marxism Conference in Sydney and may be able to report back on that event. 
2. Gail will give us an update on her current political history research project and progress reports from her attendance at local meetings and events of interest like the Socialist Alliance in Melbourne. 
3. Rui will give an update on last month’s online hook-up with the other international D@W Action Groups. 
4. Think about a question you’d like to ask Professor Wolff. The D@W Action Groups have requested members either video record or audio record questions we can send to Professor Wolff that he will then answer on the Economic Update program. 
5. Work on developing our proposed draft D@W Manifesto. Russell has drafted an initial outline for a simple statement of purpose or manifesto for the Melbourne group for everyone’s welcome feedback and ideas. You can review the draft and add your comments on our Loomio Forum for members. 

Please note if the turn out is low we may adjourn the meeting at around 2.30 to share a drink at the Curtain Hotel across the road or a cafe in Lygon Street depending on the weather and a vote by those in attendance.
