The Full Participation Economy: How to Guarantee a Place for Everyone
In the midst of a divisive political season and a nation’s soul searching about the ongoing criminalization of people of color, this discussion will explore means of achieving the promise that everyone has an equal place in the economic and civic life of the community.
Our panelists will present new ideas to advance full participation for all people, particularly those whose economic and political opportunities are hindered by the experiences of poverty, discrimination, or past involvement with the criminal justice system.
We’ll learn how one such new idea, the worker self-directed enterprise, is supporting the development of equitable, inclusive, and thriving communities.
This event is the second in our Color Line in the 21st Century discussion series.
