This is an independent event hosted by a local d@w Action Group. Please direct all question to the host contact listed below.

Note form the host: "Now that many of us have had a chance to meet, I want to spend some time getting down to the proverbial business. I have a lot of exciting ideas that I'm looking forward to sharing with you all. In addition, topics Shall Include:

*Building our Mission Statement (this will be a continuiation of last month's discussion)
*What are some of the most pressing issues in the LA area, and how can we either help present an alternative, non-capitalistic solution to the issue -or- how can we stand in solidarity with and help support other organizations that are already fighting for change (such as Serve the People in East LA)?
*A brainstorming session for fundraising so that we may begin to grow our reach, book larger meeting rooms, invite speakers and other special guests, etc.

The meeting will be held in one of the many study rooms in the Santa Monica Public Library, unless the meeting becomes too large, in which case I will move the meeting to one of the larger conference rooms. Stay tuned for the exact room information."
