d@w-Chicago Monthly Group Meeting
This is an independent event hosted by a d@w-Group. Please direct all questions to the contact listed below.
This month d@w-Chicago will hold a discussion on two topics in particular and how they relate to issues of worker owned business development in Chicago.
One topic of discussion will be on the third lecture given by Noam Chomsky titled What Kind of Creatures Are We:What is the Common Good?, part of Columbia University's 2013 Dewey Lectures.
The other topic of discussion will be on a white paper co-authored by the Illinois Worker's Cooperative Alliance and the John Marshall Law School-Business Enterprise Law Clinic titled, Cooperation Chicago: Building Chicago's Worker Cooperative Ecosystem.
In order to obtain copies of the aforementioned papers ahead of the meeting, please contact Loren Thomas at [email protected].
All are welcome! If you're interested in supporting democratic workplaces in Illinois, this is the place to go. Join the conversation and help build the new economy!
