This week on Economic Update,  Professor Richard D. Wolff provides provides updates on big French strikes to protect workers' gains, rising sub-prime loans, students pay more as states pay less for public tuition costs, West Virginia teachers strikes inspire same in Oklahoma, Arizona and Kentucky, US poverty far worse than in other nations, Prof. Perotin finds worker co-ops superior to capitalist enterprises and high tariffs on imported trucks created high prices and profits of US truck industry.

The second half of the show features an interview with Dr. Harriet Fraad on Stormy Daniels as part of "winds of change" rising in America.

Dr Harriet Fraad is a Mental Health Counselor and hypnotherapist in private practice in New York City. Her work explores the intersections of American personal, economic and political life.

Her most recent articles appeared in Alternet, (2018) and the Book Knowledge Class and Economics: Marxism Without Guarantees (2018). She appears regularly on the radio/TV show Economic Update and also appears on such shows as Redacted Tonight with Lee Camp on RT TV. Her work can be found on her website harrietfraad.com.
