Hi everyone! We are excited to announce the 3rd d@w-WestLA meetup! We heard you loud and clear during last month's meetup: we understand that most of you are here because you're passionate about economic justice and are ready to DO SOMETHING to transform the economic landscape in LA and beyond. To that end, we would like to a) institute a regular process of voting to keep the group responsive to its members and honest to its democratic roots, b) divide into "focus groups" to help tackle the multi-faceted issues of advocating for a cooperative economy, and c) develop a mission statement to help clarify the purpose and vision of d@w-WestLA.
